Here is another one of those email forewards I just had to post here. I’m pretty sure this is very old and most of you must have seen this. But since it was new to me, it must be new to some of you guys as well.

 Hey guys, Im back. I see that ive almost lost all of my regular readers due to my absence. That sucks.. but im nack now and will be posting more regularly.

Here is an email i got and loved the pics so much i thought id share it with my readers.

These incredible images of waves were taken by the number 1 photographer of surf: Clark Little. He has dedicated his life to photographing the waves and has published a selection of the the best images of his career.  He captures magical moments inside the “tube”, as surfers say.

The increase in fuel prices has made all of our lives miserable and with no sight of decrease in prices anytime soon all we can do is to get the most out of our fuel. After some research and experimentation I came up with the following ways which are a sure shot way to reduce your fuel consumption.

• The best way to reduce your fuel consumption is to use your car as little as possible. If the distance you are travelling is small and can be covered on foot or on a bicycle then do not use your car. This is more healthier for you and for your enviornment.
• Always check your tires inflation. Research has shown that 50% of tires on the road are under inflated.If your tires are under inflated, they will consume more fuel. So regularly check your tires inflation.
• If you stop for more than 2 minutes then it is best to switch off your car engine as keeping it running unnecessarily will increase fuel consumption. But if your stop is less than 2 minutes then turning off your car engine will not be worth it as your car will require a lot more fuel to get started.
• Drive off promptly: A lot has been said about this and it states that drive off as soon as you start your car as this will decrease your fuel consumption. This is WRONG. You have to give the engine sometime to heat up and some time for the oil to circulate, let the engine running for at least a minute before driving. This way the lubrication will decrease the wear and improve efficiency. (more…)
  

Hong Kong websites are the most likely to hit visitors with unwanted ads, viruses and spam, research from McAfee has found.
According to McAfee more than 19 percent of websites using the “.hk” domain pose a security threat to visitors. China based sites are the second most risky with 11 percent, while those from Finland and Japan are the two safest. Romanian and Russian sites were also a threat to web users.
Last year, the survey ranked Hong Kong as only the 28th most risky internet location.
The survey looked at 9.9 million well-visited websites in 265 countries and ranked them by the amount of adware, spyware, viruses and spam, excessive pop-ups, browser exploits or links to other problem sites. The generic domain name “.info” was considered the most problematic while the survey found “.gov” to be the safest.
Hong Kong and China are often cited as the source of much of the worlds spam.

I just love strategy games, I have been playing and am addicted to all C & C games, the latest being Tiberium wars. I just love that game. I have ended GDI campaign and am halfway through the NOD campaign.

I have heard that there is also a SCRIN campaign waiting for me. I cant wait to play it. But these are heavy PC games, what happens when you want to play free online strategy games.

Well for that reason I have found a site, that gives reviews about strategy games, its new and the material is still expanding, free online strategy games is worth a try.

Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are not doing enough to eliminate potentially harmful chemicals and metals from their games consoles, according to environmental watchdog, GreenPeace. The body examined materials used inside PS2, XBOX 360 and Wii. Greenpeace said that while all three machines complied with European laws the consoles still contain harmful materials that “needed to be replaced”.

Nintendo is ranked at the bottom of Greenpeace’s global assesment of “green” tecnology companies. The organization has called on all technology firms to take immediate action to eliminate toxic chemicals from products.

The report found that both the PS3 and 360 contained very high levels of chemicals, called phthalates, which are used to ’soften’ flexible materials like wires and cable coatings. They are not permitted in toys sold in Europe but under EU regulations games consoles are not classed as toys.

Ok so here is my own method on how to lose a huge amount of weight in a very short amount of time. I tried it on myself and it works perfectly.

I was overweight and never did plan on losing any weight or go through any diet and exercise programs, this just happened and I lost all that weight. I thought I’d share this method with all of you guys out there struggling with weight problems. (more…)

 At the PWN2OWN contest this year, hackers were given an open invitation to hack the three most popular Operating systems in use. Windows Vista, Mac OS X and Ubuntu 7.10, these were installed on separate laptops, VAIO VGN-TZ37CN running Ubuntu 7.10, Fujitsu U810 running Vista Ultimate SP1, and a MacBook Air running OSX 10.5.2, the rules were simple you hack it you take it meaning the hacker that hacked the laptop would get a cash prize along with the hacked laptop.

The Macbook Air was the first to fall on the second day, security researcher Charlie Miller found an exploit in Apple’s Safari. he accomplished this in 2 minutes. Yes 2 minutes.

Vista was the second one to fall on the third day, hacker Shane Macaulay was able to hack and gain control of the Vista operating system using an exploit in the latest version of Adobe’s flash player.

After Vista’s fall on the last day left Ubuntu 7.10 as the last OS standing. Hence proving that Linux (Ubuntu) is the ultimate winner.

Miller walked away with $10,000 in cold hard cash and the Mac Book air, while Macaulay walked away with $5000 in cash and the Fujitsu U810.

It really does amaze me how some people can be so stupid. Now why on earth would the CEO of Microsoft be using a Mac and in such a public place? His presentation notebook choice really puzzles us.

Summers are here and so are the flies, these things are more annoying than anything, or they may be the most annoying creatures on this earth.

There is still hope, today I found out the most effective way to kill a fly, and I though I’d share this valuable information with my readers

Here goes, Wait for the fly to land first, it should be in a place within range, now wait for it to rub it’s legs together (they do that once they think they are safe) it will rub either it’s front or back legs, Now is the time to strike. Strike it with your hand and you will have a 80% more probability of hitting it when it is in this state. It’s reflexes are much slower

So there you have it, now you can enjoy an almost fly-free summer.

Oh and I know that the king should have an army of servants doing all the fly killing, but I prefer to do my own hunting and killing

Every where I go I see the same count down, 5 days to go, 3 days to go, 2 days to go. Every one I see is waiting for the release date of Hardy Heron.

Yes I know it is only 2 days away, but we all know from experience what happens on the release date. The entire world is downloading the new Ubuntu release and the bandwidth of all the canonical websites along with all of their mirrors is stretched thin. As a result download speeds really suck. It is really annoying watching the download rate fall from 30 kbps to 8 kbps (yes, I have a 256K connection). (more…)
